Staff Positions:
Director of Admissions
Central Pennsylvania College is seeking a person with substantial, progressively responsible admissions experience for the position of Director of Admissions. This position is responsible for the active recruitment of traditional (recent HS graduate) student to reach departmental goals. This position supervises all admissions and related staff members to ensure recruiting goals are met or exceeded. Participates as a member of the marketing team and assists with the development and monitoring of the admissions marketing plan to include communication flow, print, email.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree and at least 5 years experience in admissions leadership roles, culminating in directorship, required. State-of-the-art knowledge of admission trends, enrollment planning, education policy required. Strong leadership and administrative skills including planning, budgeting, resource management required. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate independent projects and supervise reporting staff, required. A valid driver's license and willingness/ability to travel required. Willingness to work occasional weekends required. Proficiency with MS Office software - Word, PowerPoint, Excel required. Experience with Jenzabar CX, predictive modeling and CRM a major plus. Experience in a private, for-profit school environment a major plus.

Assistant Database Administrator
Assist the College Systems Manager in the performance of his duties, to include report writing and task overload, and assume the role of Systems Manager in his absence. Secondarily, maintain and enhance the College’s document imaging and business intelligence system to provide staff, strategic partners, and students with appropriate access to needed information.
This position has mission-critical responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the College’s document imaging systems, the COGNOS-Impromptu business intelligence system and the College Jenzabar CX database system. The database is the warehouse for essential information supporting all of the College’s academic and administrative systems and applications.
Requirements include a BS in Computer Science or related degree. A minimum of three years proven experience in development, production and maintenance of dynamic, complex, multi-user applications and/or Web sites. Advanced knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and the ability to script and program in Perl, VBscript, Javascript, CGI, ASP, Informix SPL, and Java using a text editor. Excellent skills in MSSQL, web server administration, Visual Studio or .Net (including Visual InterDev), XML, HTML/DHTML, and other Web authoring software and experience with Windows servers. Expert knowledge of VBScript, Javascript, SQL, procedural and functional programming, object-oriented programming, Informix SPL, database data types and coercion. Advanced knowledge of Perl, .Net technologies, HTML/DHTML, XML. Competence with CX Web Application, Database & Portal Software, working knowledge of UNIX, Informix, SQL, and networking basics (DNS, IP tools). Preference to knowledge base with Jenzabar CX, COGNOS-Impromptu and the Feith Jenzabar document imaging system.

Financial Aid Counselor
The Financial Aid Department is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Financial Aid Counselor. Primary responsibilities include processing and awarding student financial aid consistent with polices and procedures and with regard to Federal/State regulations. Resident Advisor
The Resident Advisor plays a vital role in facilitating an atmosphere of community, facilities management, and crisis management within the residence halls. The Resident Advisor program expands the opportunities possible by providing competent peer assistance in the residence halls. Resident Advisors reside “in-house” and as such have the most frequent and direct communication with resident students. Through a rewarding instructional, pre-service, and ongoing in-service training program, the individual sincerely interested in making a commitment to helping others is exposed to many experiences. These experiences are necessary in fostering an environment, which is conducive to the academic, social, and personal needs and fulfillment of each of her/his residents. This leadership position provides the Resident Advisor with the unique opportunity to further develop personal self-awareness and interpersonal communication skills that are vital for success in all facets of life. Homeland Security Faculty
Central Pennsylvania College, Pennsylvania's preeminent career-oriented, baccalaureate residential college, seeks a full-time professor for the Homeland Security Program.
