Basketball Coaches
Central Pennsylvania College , a regionally accredited four year degree granting institution with numerous career-oriented programs is seeking candidates for open Basketball Coaching positions. Previous college or high school coaching experience required. Previous college basketball playing experience recommended. Resident Advisor
The Resident Advisor plays a vital role in facilitating an atmosphere of community, facilities management, and crisis management within the residence halls. The Resident Advisor program expands the opportunities possible by providing competent peer assistance in the residence halls. Resident Advisors reside “in-house” and as such have the most frequent and direct communication with resident students. Through a rewarding instructional, pre-service, and ongoing in-service training program, the individual sincerely interested in making a commitment to helping others is exposed to many experiences. These experiences are necessary in fostering an environment, which is conducive to the academic, social, and personal needs and fulfillment of each of her/his residents. This leadership position provides the Resident Advisor with the unique opportunity to further develop personal self-awareness and interpersonal communication skills that are vital for success in all facets of life. Resident Advisor: Graduation from college with a major in psychology, sociology, social welfare or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and skills, knowledge’s and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. Safety and Security Officer
Safety and Security Officers provide preventative and investigative security services to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors, and to safeguard College property and equipment. Incumbents regularly provide direction to College students, staff and visitors as required to maintain safety.

General and business knowledge equivalent to a High School Diploma (Associate's degree preferred) with 2-3 years of related security/safety experience in a private business/industrial setting.

Must possess or agree to obtain within a reasonable period following hire: (1) a valid PA Lethal Weapons Training Certificate and (2) certification in the following areas:

  • Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training (OCAT)
  • Practical and Tactical Handcuffing (PATH)
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
  • Monadnock Expandable Baton (MEB)
  • American Red Cross (First Aid, CPR, AED)
  • First Responders of Sexual Assault

Thorough knowledge of local emergency agencies and their procedures is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to facilitate effective interaction with students, faculty, staff, visitors and external resources. Academic Positions:


Central Penn Lehigh Valley Dean
Central Pennsylvania College is seeking a Center Dean for its new location in the Lehigh Valley. The Dean will serve the primary function of overseeing academic pursuits. Responsibilities include faculty recruiting, coordinating course schedules, and facilitating continuing education functions.

Candidate must possess general, business and relevant subject matter knowledge equivalent to a Doctoral degree with 7-8 or more years of progressive experiences in developing post-secondary educational programs and managing complex, sophisticated organizations of well educated, highly skilled professionals in the delivery of post-secondary educational services.

Business - Information Systems and Technology Faculty

Central Pennsylvania College is seeking full-time faculty to grow and expand its Information Technology Program. Candidate must have an earned Masters Degree in Education, Technology, or a closely related field and experience with applications programming and databases.

Experience in the field and/or in education/training is preferred. Knowledge of one or more of the following areas is essential: visual programming, C++, JAVA, or other object-oriented programming, PERL, and SQL. Individual must be able to multi-task, have strong customer service skills, be able to advise students, and be willing to explore progressive technologies.
