Web Content Specialist - posted 7/13/10Central Pennsylvania College is seeking an energetic, team player to provide editorial and design leadership for the developing and technical maintenance of the College’s web site and social media strategies. This includes writing and editing for the web, identification of site enhancement needs and coordination of enhancements with appropriate individuals/departments, as well as coordinating a social media strategy in support of all key messaging across various social media sites.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a closely-related field. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and an attention to detail are required. Experience in higher education a plus. Safety & Security Officer - posted 5/3/10
Central Pennsylvania College is seeking candidates for the position of full time Safety and Security Officer. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of related security/safety experience in a private business/industrial setting. The candidate must possess or agree to obtain within a reasonable period following hire: (1) a valid Pennsylvania Lethal Weapons Training Certificate and (2) certification in the following areas:
- Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training (OCAT)
- Practical and Tactical Handcuffing (PATH)
- Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Monadnock Expandable Baton (MEB)
- American Red Cross (First Aid, CPR, AED)

Maintenance/Plumbing/General (Part-Time Opening)
This
person will have advanced plumbing skills.
Must possess average or better carpentry and painting skills. Exhibit
minor electrical skills. Willing and able to pick up paper around campus. Willing and able to
participate in snow removal by operating a snow shovel and motorized
snow removal equipment. Must be available day or night during the
winter months in order to participate in snow removal activity on
campus. This position is part-time/day-time with flexible hours. Friendly and personable demeanor is required when

Academic Positions:
Occupational Therapist Assistant Program Director - posted 2/16/10Central Pennsylvania College is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Occupational Therapist Assistant Program Director. Primary responsibilities include management and administration of the program, including planning, evaluation, budgeting, selection of faculty and staff, maintenance of accreditation and commitment to strategies for professional development. A Master’s degree with five years of experience in the field of OT including practice as an OT or OTA, administrative or supervisory experience and at least one year of experience in a full-time academic appointment with teaching experience. OT or OTA need to hold current licensing and credentials per state requirements.
