Personal Bio

During term breaks, I enjoy visiting family and friends in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Florida, and other fun locations. My recent trips include Longboat Key, FL, and Nashville, TN.

My husband and I are looking forward to celebrating our daughter's wedding in May 2016 and celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in May 2017. Our dog, an energetic beagle named Lily, keeps us busy with long walks around our neighborhood.

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is that passion for the course subject, along with a sense of purpose, should lead to successful performance. When I teach day and evening courses, I embrace the social aspects of the educational journey. When I teach online courses, I utilize discussion boards and coursework for students to demonstrate their knowledge and course skills.
