How can we help you succeed?
The library is always staffed with a professional librarian during business hours. Please feel free to contact us for any help that you may need.
Through Access PA, we are able to borrow books from most libraries in Pennsylvania. After you have checked for the needed materials in the Jones library, you may also want to search the website for Access PA, at http://www.accesspa.state.pa.us. The site has more than 20 million books listed. If you need help, please ask a librarian.
Submitting ILL Requests
An ILL (InterLibrary Loan) form is available at the circulation desk, or you can use the online book loan request form; fill out the form in order to use this service. Contact a librarian if you need help.
Delivery of ILL Books
Books are sent to the Jones library. We will contact you when the requested book is available. Normal delivery time is seven to 14 days.
You are responsible for the materials you borrow. Please handle them with care and do not lend them to anyone. They must be returned to our library by the date due. See circulation policy.
Materials on Reserve
Some of the required textbooks are on reserve at the circulation desk's reserve shelf. Students must have their ID cards in order to check out these items. Reserve items may be checked out for two hours and are for library use only-they do not circulate outside the library.
The library has a free copier for students to use. Various pieces of audio-visual equipment (TV monitor, VCR, DVD player, audio cassette player) are available in the library for previewing material. In addition to the 15 hard-wired computer stations, the library is enabled with Wi-Fi. Laptops, an iPad, a Kindle Fire, and a Nook tablet are available to be checked out.
