Circulation
Borrowing Books
To borrow books, patrons are asked to present a valid I.D. card with a library barcode. Books are checked out and returned to the Circulation Desk.
Renewing Books
Books, except those designated Reference, may circulate for a four week period. They may be renewed if there is no previous request for them.
Reserving Books
You may place a reserve on a book that is in circulation. We will notify you when it is returned and available for your use.
Tracking Your Borrowing
You can keep track of the books that you have borrowed and their due dates. Go to the "Borrower Details" button on the Catalog's main page. It is recommended, for your security, that you set up a PIN number to use in addition to your ID number. PIN numbers must be registered at the Circulation Desk in order to be effective.
Overdue/Lost Materials
Overdue materials are subject to a fine of 20 cents per day. Questions concerning fines should be taken to the librarian. The loss of any material should be reported immediately. If the material is not found, the borrower is obligated to pay for replacement of the material and a five dollar processing fee. All materials must be returned by the last day of each quarter. If materials have not been returned and fines paid by the last class day of each quarter, a hold will be placed on the student's grades. The hold will be released when the materials have been returned and fine paid or replacement cost plus processing fee paid.
