Interlibrary Loan

Through Access PA, we are able to borrow books from most libraries in Pennsylvania.  After you have checked for the needed materials in the Jones Library, you may also want to search the website for Access PA, at http://www.accesspa.state.pa.us.  The site has over 12 million books listed.  If you need help, please ask a librarian.

Submitting ILL Requests

An ILL (InterLibrary Loan) form is available at the Circulation Desk; fill out the form in order to use this service. See a librarian if you need help.

Delivery of ILL Books

Books are sent to the Jones Library. We will contact you when the requested book is available. Normal delivery time is 7-14 days.

Borrower's Responsibilities

You are responsible for the materials you borrow.  Please handle them with care and do not lend them to anyone.  They must be returned to our library by the date due.

Materials on Reserve

When a professor wants the entire class to read an article, it is available at the Circulation Desk's Reserve Shelf. Students must have their ID cards in order to use these items. Printed material may be photocopied. Reserve items are for library use only - they do not circulate outside the library.

Equipment

The library has a copier for students to use.  Copies are 10 cents each and change is available at the circulation desk. Various pieces of audio-visual equipment (TV monitor, VCR, DVD player, audio cassette player) are available in the library for previewing tapes. In addition to the 15 hard-wired computer stations, the library is served by a wireless system which allows patrons to connect with the campus network.
