As a Medical Assistant Instructor, my major goal is to build secure and trusted connections with my colleagues and students in order to support and enable the finest teaching and learning experiences possible. I am always willing to talk, mentor, and share my ideas and knowledge. I consult widely and conduct research as needed. I seek solutions and assist and encourage others to do extraordinary things, both individually and collectively, using real-life scenarios.
I am wife and mother of boy and girl twins. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Allentown, Pennsylvania. Residing in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I fell in love with the Amish community and farmlands. I ran track and competed in the Javelin at the national level. Also, was a part of the NJROTC Rifle and Drill team. I was the first person in my family to attend and graduate from college. I am a KNIGHT, alumni, and a graduate of Central Penn College. I have thirteen years of medical expertise, specializing in phlebotomy and urgent care situations, and seven years of teaching experience in Medical Assisting. Owner of two small businesses: Wedding Industry and Truck Hauling. Hiking, paddle boarding, and traveling to warm and beach destinations as a family. Nightly activities include swimming, ballet, tap, coding workshops, and choir. Passionate for teaching and assisting students to flourish in their academics and careers.
