Teaching Philosophy
I believe that every student has the capability to learn anything. They simply require proper motivation, work ethic and, most importantly, proper instruction.
Bio
As a physical therapist, I have treated patients in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, home health and long term acute care. Throughout my career, I have worked with a variety of diagnoses for both pre- and post-surgical patients.
As an academician, I have had the opportunity to guest lecture at colleges, present at a faculty colloquial series, and serve on a number of panels discussing current healthcare issues. My work has been published in the Journal of Saint Francis Research.
I live in Mechanicsburg with my soon-to-be wife, Amy. I have been involved in strength and conditioning for many years and had the pleasure of competing in mixed martial arts. Although I am not currently competing, I still enjoy training several days per week.
