The Lady Knights win first game of 2019

Central Penn women’s soccer team traveled south of the Mason-Dixon line to earn their first win, defeating Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Va., 5–1.

Sophomores Kayla Murren and Wislene Verna propelled the Knights’ offense with two goals apiece. Freshman Ericka Morgan knocked in a goal as well during Central Penn’s shutout victory.

The Lady Knights jumped out to 5–0 in the first half and cruised the rest of the way. They have their first home game this Saturday against Trinity Washington. Start time is 3:30 p.m.
