COVID-19- Urgent Update

Dear Students,

As you may have already heard, Governor Wolf has ordered the closing of all non-essential businesses and organizations in the state to shut down by midnight, tonight. That means that Central Penn College will abide by his order and move all final exams to an online format beginning tomorrow. The college facilities will be closed to all students.

Your exams will be administered remotely (on blackboard) this week. For those of you with labs or comps this week, your instructors will be reaching out to you with specific instructions. Please contact your individual instructor with any requests for accommodations.

We recognize the challenges this presents, as it is the final week of the term and many of you have been preparing hard for your exams, but we do not have a choice. Residential students are asked to make immediate arrangements to leave campus. Your health and safety are our primary concern.

Please bring all of your essential items home, including textbooks, computers, medication and other devices.

Thank you for your cooperation. These are unprecedented times and we will get through them together. More information will be shared as it becomes available.

Sincerely,

Dr. Linda Fedrizzi-Williams
