Central Penn College athletics and activities award winners

Although Central Penn College’s Athletics and Activities Ceremony took place online this year, the event was still full of surprises and special moments.

Club Awards

  • Community Service Award – The Central Penn College Armed Forces Association
    • This club did multiple events to give back to vets. Members held an overnight homeless veterans initiative, were featured on the local news and donated $1,600 in support of homeless veterans and veteran services. The club donated the money to JFT Recovery & Veterans Support Services in Lemoyne, Pa. Members also give back to the CPC community by hosting multiple cookouts. Congratulations to all the members of our Armed Forces Association!
  • Leadership Award – Brian Petkash
    • Brian is nothing but a leader. He shows up to meetings early and will pick up the pizza if I can’t. He will be the first one to take on a challenge. He arranged a speaker on his own and a community service project. He leads by example!
  • School Spirit Award – Nda Shalal
    • Nda is always promoting Knight spirit to students when she is on and off the soccer field, as an RA at the college, and being a part of many clubs. This student is worthy of this award.
  • Jack-Of-All-Trades Award – Robert McHugh
    •  Robert is constantly contributing to different clubs and events in different ways. He contributed to Casino Night as a dealer and volunteered as soon as he had the opportunity. He is someone who you want on your team.
  • CPC Culture Award – Jenelle Dulack
    •  Our very first CPC Culture award goes to Jenelle Dulack. As president of the Knight Way, she organizes script writing meetings, works with student anchors during taping, and edits the video broadcasts. As vice president of the CPPlayers, she is an enthusiastic member who encourages others to engage in the fun that is improv theatre. As a student actor, she gives tirelessly to the creation and production of many theatrical events. As president of the Equal Knights, she uses traditional and artistic approaches to create a stronger and more inclusive environment for both the members and non-members of the LGBTQ+ Community.
  • Club Event of the Year Award – Casino Night by Activities Advisory Board
    • This event was the talk of the school for weeks before and after the event. So many clubs joined in to make it a memorable night and everyone had such an amazing time. Congratulations to AAB as well as to the many clubs that supported this event!
  • Club of the Year Award – Phi Beta Lambda
  • Club Advisor of the Year Award – Dan Guerrisi
    • As co-advisor of the Armed Forces Association, this is a no brainer. Dan is constantly looking for ways to make the club better and is always inviting students to join. He is courteous and very welcoming.
