Central Penn College Baseball Hosts Military Appreciation Day at FNB Field

Central Penn College will host Penn State Fayette for a baseball double header and Military Appreciation Day at FNB Field on City Island this Wednesday, April 30th. The first game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the second at 3:00 PM.
The day will feature special events to honor members of the military and their families. A military veteran is slated to throw out an honorary first pitch before the games. Throughout the double header, each inning will be dedicated to military family members of Central Penn College’s student-athletes and campus community through special public address announcements.
In a show of support, the Central Penn team will wear special military-themed hats. Representatives from the National Guard will also be present at FNB Field to provide information.
Fans and families are encouraged to come out to FNB Field to support the Knights and join in recognizing the contributions and sacrifices of the military community. Central Penn College aims to use this event as an opportunity to express gratitude to its families and fans, particularly those with military connections, while adhering to appropriate guidelines for public messaging.
