CPC Knights Esports: A Rising Force in Collegiate Gaming
Central Penn College’s esports program is expanding rapidly, with competitive teams, a dedicated practice facility, and student-driven leadership. CPC Esports is earning national attention, proving that a small college can make a big impact in the competitive gaming arena.

The Steve Shoemaker Gaming Center
The heart of our gaming and esports community is the Steve Shoemaker Gaming Center, a modern space designed for both competitive teams and casual players.
Inside the Gaming Center
Students can access:
- Xbox, PlayStation, and PC gaming stations
- Dedicated team practice space
- A welcoming community hub for casual play, tournaments, and club meetups
This space is home to both the CPC Gaming Club and CPC’s varsity-level esports teams, creating an inclusive environment where all gamers belong.
Gaming Club: Open to All Students
If you’re a gamer, you’re invited. The CPC Gaming Club brings together players of all skill levels and interests—from cozy gaming fans to competitive tournament regulars. The club is student-run.
What the Gaming Club Offers
- Weekly meet-ups
- A relaxed, fun place to connect with fellow gamers
- Access to all Gaming Center systems
- Leadership opportunities (the club is currently seeking a new president!)
- Quarterly tournaments, featuring:
- NBA 2K
- Madden
- Mario Kart
- Fortnite
- …and more student-selected titles
Both residential and online students are welcome. Online players may practice remotely and only need to come to campus for competitions.
