The Central Penn College Knights baseball team has achieved a historic milestone, securing a coveted bid to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Small College World Series for only the second time in the program’s history. The Knights, entering the national championship tournament as the #8 seed, will commence their quest for the title against Central Maine Community College on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1 p.m.

The 2025 USCAA Small College World Series is set to take place in Dubois, Pennsylvania.

Central Penn College earned its spot in the prestigious tournament after a thrilling victory in the Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Championship Game on Saturday. The Knights defeated the Bucks County Community College Centurions with a 12-7 score at FNB Field on City Island in Harrisburg. This victory marked the team’s third consecutive ESAC Conference Championship, underscoring a period of sustained success for the program.

The Knights concluded their impressive regular season with an overall record of 25-10, demonstrating success within their conference with an undefeated 15-0 record in ESAC play for the first time in school history.

This year’s appearance in the Small College World Series marks a significant moment for Central Penn College, with their only prior qualification dating back to 2017. The team looks to build on their conference success and make a strong showing on the national stage.
