Central Penn College President Linda Fedrizzi-Williams, Ed.D., has earned national recognition as one of the “Top People Changing Career Education,” according to Career Education Review magazine.

Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams, who is now in her seventh year as the 10th president of Central Penn College, was recognized for her transformative leadership, her authentic relationships with students, and her tireless commitment to shaping the future of career education.

Leading with Heart and Vision

Throughout her presidency, Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams has been praised for her personal connection with students—supporting them not just during their time at Central Penn, but long after graduation. Her leadership reflects a deep understanding of how education can change lives, and she continues to inspire both students and colleagues through her compassion and commitment to their success.

At a time when higher education faces unprecedented challenges, Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams has strategically adapted Central Penn College’s academic offerings to meet evolving workforce demands. Under her direction, the college has expanded its career-focused programs to include Dental Assisting, Surgical Technology, and Behavioral Health, among others. These programs help students build real-world skills and fill critical workforce gaps—creating a true college-to-career pipeline in fields like healthcare and business.

Building Partnerships for a Stronger Future

Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams has also been instrumental in forging partnerships with leading employers and organizations, including the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania State Police, GIANT Foods, and numerous high schools and workforce development groups. Through these partnerships, Central Penn College students gain access to meaningful internship and employment opportunities, while regional employers gain access to skilled, career-ready graduates.

Her influence extends beyond education. Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams has worked closely with leaders in economic development, government, banking, healthcare, and the nonprofit sector, frequently sharing insights on leadership and innovation through local media outlets such as PennLive and the Central Penn Business Journal.

Her thought leadership has earned her multiple distinctions, including the “Power 100,” “Women of Influence,” and “Empowering Women” awards—honors that reflect her ongoing impact across Central Pennsylvania and beyond.

Elevating Career Education Nationally

Under Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams’ leadership, Central Penn College has become a recognized example of how career-focused education empowers students, strengthens institutions, and uplifts communities. The college’s alumni outcomes speak volumes—more than 90% of graduates are working in their chosen field or continuing their education within a year of graduation, according to the college’s most recent Alumni Survey.

“Our student body is wonderfully diverse,” said Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams. “Many of our students are first-generation college students or students who never thought they would go to college, but they are here defying the odds and excelling—both in classes and later in life.
