Central Penn College President Earns YWCA’s “Woman of Excellence” Award

Dr. Linda Fedrizzi-Williams, President of Central Penn College in Enola, PA. has been named a “Woman of Excellence” by the YWCA, attracting recognition for transforming the culture and ensuring the career relevance of the 145-year-old college as its tenth president.

Dr. Fedrizzi’s nomination cited her results-oriented servant leadership, her core belief in the value and potential within each individual, and her unconditional acceptance of those from all walks of life, which has reinforced the college’s mission to offer top-tier economic and academic opportunities in business, health care and other in-demand fields. 

As a constant and always-approachable presence at college events and in day-to-day campus life, and a well-known and respected community leader beyond the campus, Dr. Fedrizzi has built college-community relationships and mutually beneficial partnerships that have included UPMC, Verber Dental, GIANT, Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Milton Hershey School and more,

The ceremony for the YWCA Women of Excellence awards will be held on March 24 in Hershey.

“What an honor to be selected as part of the 2026 Class of Women of Excellence,” she said.  “This recognition is extremely humbling and makes me prouder than ever of our students, who inspire success in the workforce and in life.”
