New Scholarships available to those who qualify!

140 Year Scholarship

In honor of the college’s founding in 1881, the 140 Year Scholarship awards $1400 to full-time students who start during the summer or fall terms in 2021.

  • Must be a new, full-time student who started during the summer or fall terms in 2021

Fueling Your Future Scholarship

An academic scholarship for full-time commuter students who start in July. The $3,000 scholarship will be applied over six terms.

  • Must take 12 credits
  • Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher
  • Must start during the summer term

Knight Books – $500 for full-time students; $250 for part-time

Full-time students can receive up to $500 for books during the fall term; part-time students would be eligible for $250.

  • Full-time students––12 or more credits per term––are eligible to receive $500.
  • Students are considered when part-time when they take 11 credits or less.
  • Part-time can receive up to $250 for books.
  • Scholarship is only available during the fall term.

Knight Meals

The Knights Meals will cover the $690 meal plan for full-time residential students who start during the fall term.

  • Must attend full-time and live in campus housing.
  • Must start during the fall term.

Returning Student Scholarship

This scholarship is to support students who already have credits from Central Penn College and are coming back to complete their degree.

  • The award is up to $2,000.
  • Can be dispersed over the remaining terms.

Medical Assisting Diploma Healthcare Heroes Award

Students in the Medical Assisting Diploma are eligible to receive the Health Heroes Award, which provides up to $500 in scholarship assistance per term.

  • Must be enrolled in the Medical Assisting Diploma program
  • The maximum award is $2,000 over four terms.

RN to BSN Excellence in Nursing Scholarship

Students in this program may be eligible to receive up to $18,000 in need-based tuition assistance during the eight terms of the program. Students will need to apply for FAFSA and accept federal or state grants first, along with any tuition reimbursement provided by their employers.

  • Must accept federal and/or state grants first
  • Must maximize any employer tuition reimbursement

College Graduate Scholarship

This $1500 scholarship is for students who already have a college degree––a bachelor’s or an associate––from another college or university. These students must be pursuing an associate or bachelor’s at Central Penn College. They must take at least 9 credits per term to qualify.

  • Must have a bachelor’s or an associate from an accredited college or university other than Central Penn College
  • Must take at least 9 credits per term

Free Housing at Central Penn College

Expanded Housing Scholarship – Students can now live rent-free on campus for up to 4 years, thanks to an Expanded Housing Scholarship. This scholarship is worth up to $23,200. No other college or university in Pennsylvania offers such a generous housing scholarship. To qualify, students need to be in good academic standing, attend full-time and adhere to the guidelines in the student handbook.

Career-Based Education That Works – A recent survey finds that 90.6% of recent Central Penn graduates are employed in their chosen field or continuing their education within one year of graduation. Overall, 98.3% of graduates were employed in some capacity or continuing their education. Central Penn offers career-based programs in business, healthcare, accounting, criminal justice, IT, paralegal and more.

Regional Scholarship – $3,000 – For high school graduates from Adams, Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties, with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. For more details, go here.

USCAA D2 Athletics – For students who want to play college ball, Central Penn College fields six teams in men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball (new) and baseball. Our men’s basketball team has made the championship tournament for eight consecutive years.
