Central Penn College’s apartment-style housing offers a practical living experience that feels more like life after college.

Students share an apartment with other residents. Each apartment includes:

Living in an apartment gives students the opportunity to prepare meals (with support from a meal plan), maintain their space, manage a schedule, and share responsibilities with roommates.

Central Penn College’s residential community is located near the center of campus. The apartments are arranged around a common area that includes the outdoor pool.

Nearby facilities include: Volleyball courts, Basketball courts, Pickleball court, Tennis court, A batting cage and our outdoor pool.

You can leave your apartment, study at the Library, meet friends for a game,  or relax near the pool without leaving campus.

Bring Your Car and Park for Free

Residential students may bring a car beginning on their first day at Central Penn College.

Student parking is completely free, and there is sufficient parking available for residential students.

Having a car on campus can make it easier to travel to: Jobs, Internships, Clinical experiences, Athletic events, Appointments, Stores, Activities in the surrounding community and visits home.

Student Housing Frequently Asked Questions

Do students have roommates?

Yes. Bedrooms are double occupancy. Each student shares a bedroom with one roommate.

Students also share the apartment’s kitchen, living area, bathrooms, and other common spaces with their apartment residents.

Can I choose my roommate?

Students may submit roommate requests. The Housing and Student Services teams will make reasonable efforts to consider those requests during the housing assignment process. Roommate requests cannot be guaranteed.

Are laundry facilities available?

Yes. Laundry facilities are available for residential students. Residents will receive instructions and access information before moving into campus housing.

Can I bring a car to campus?

Yes. Residential students may bring a car beginning on their first day living on campus.

Is student parking free?

Yes. Parking for Central Penn College students is completely free.

Is there enough parking for residential students?

Yes. Central Penn College has sufficient parking available for all residential students.

What academic resources are near student housing?

The residential community is just steps away from the Charles “T.” Jones Leadership Library. Students have convenient access to study areas, technology, academic resources, and support services.

What athletic and recreational facilities are near housing?

Student housing is close to volleyball courts, basketball courts, pickleball court, tennis court, a batting cage, and the outdoor pool. These facilities give students opportunities to exercise, practice, compete, socialize, and enjoy campus life.

Do students stay on campus during winter break?

Students must leave campus during the three-week winter break between the fall and winter terms. Residential students will receive information about move-out dates, return dates, and other winter break details.
