In five years, Landon completely made over his life and career. He’s gone from ringing up breakfast sandwiches as a convenient store cashier to processing payroll and accounts payable (and much more) as a senior accountant for a global company.

Morgan Wylie is investing in herself, her family and her future. She’s a working mother who attends evening classes at Central Penn College, as she pursues her master’s degree.

“My career path since graduation can be described, in one word, fast,” says Chris Adams, who graduated in May with a medical assisting (MA) degree. “When I starting applying to MA jobs, I was asked for an interview very quickly and hired just as fast.”

Chris Norkus has been named Central Penn College’s new head women’s basketball coach. He replaces long-time coach Kasey Hicks who was recently promoted to athletic director at the college.

Giant Food Stores is the latest local company to partner with Central Penn College. Their employees are now eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend Central Penn College. Giant also provides $5,250 a year in tuition reimbursement to 8,856 eligible full-time associates across the state.

Central Penn College has announced it’s Student Athletes of the Month for October 2019. Soccer players Soufiane Issofou and Aleena Griffith have been selected by their respective teams.

Doug Fisher will speak with business administration students at Thaddeus Stevens College on Friday, Oct. 18, at 12:30 p.m.

Jimmy Cieri is a member of the first graduating class of health science majors from Central Penn College. The Enola resident, along with his fellow classmates, were awarded their degrees this past May.

The Capital BlueCross Theatre was the place to be this weekend with the debut of Bridge (the gap), a new theatrical work co-written by Central Penn Professor Maria James-Thiaw.
