Central Penn’s Summerdale Campus

Central Penn College's Summerdale Campus

Central Penn College is located on a 58-acre campus in suburban Summerdale, Pennsylvania. The campus is just minutes from downtown Harrisburg, the state capital.

The campus is comprised of four academic buildings, the Charles “T” Jones Leadership Library, 34 student townhouses, six apartment buildings, the Health Sciences Building, the Underground Student Union, and the Boyer House.

The Central Penn College Lancaster Center has been providing career-focused education to residents from Lancaster County and the surrounding areas since 2004. Located in Lancaster–at the intersection of Greenfield Road and Old Philadelphia Pike–the center has educated more than 1,200 students.

The Lancaster Center serves a population of students who primarily attend evening classes, Monday through Thursday.

Central Penn College has been offering online classes since 2004. We were one of the first colleges in this area to adapt to this method of instruction. In fact, 70% of our students take at least one online class every term.

Online instruction is something we have been doing for more than 15 years. It’s something we know and it’s something we’re good at. Earning your degree online provides you with a flexible and convenient schedule.

The undergraduate program length is designed for students who are enrolled full time and complete and pass every course required for graduation in the specified time frame. The graduate program length is designed for graduate students who are enrolled part-time and successfully complete six consecutive terms. The postsecondary certificate program length is designed for students who are enrolled part-time and successfully complete three consecutive terms.
