Experience – Both as a Coach and Player

He started his coaching career with Red Land High School as an assistant coach in 2012 and then transitioned to the head coaching position at Trinity High School in 2015, before becoming the men’s soccer coach at Cedar Cliff High School the following year.

A 2005 graduate of Trinity High School, Osborne was a perennial all-star for the Shamrocks, earning three-time honors for the All-Mid Penn Conference, All-Patriot News Big 11 first team and All-Sentinel News. He finished as one of Trinity’s all-time, scoring leaders for goals.

He continued his athletic career at Misericordia University where he was a two-year starter on the soccer field and a NCAA regional qualifier on the track. Finishing his athletic career as an invited walk-on for track & field and soccer at Temple University, he graduated in 2011 with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management.

Coaching Philosophy

“I believe it’s all about R.O.I. (Return on Investment),” says Coach Osborne. “The college student-athlete experience requires individuals to invest their time, effort and mental capacity year-round, and I believe it takes a special type of toughness to do that.”

“You get in return what you put into your experience,” he continues. “When you get full investment from players and coaches, it creates something special. It’s a beautiful thing to see when it all comes together. That’s what we’re going to aim to do as a program.”

Osborne works as an elementary teacher at Kindercare, refs PIAA basketball, and serves as the Cedar Cliff High School girl’s track & field head coach. He resides in Lemoyne, Pa.
