Summer Term Housing Update – Current Students

The Department of Student Housing and Residential Life would like to say THANK YOU for your quick response to the move-out process. Because all of you made this happen in such a short time, we have been able to start the cleaning and repair process for all of the suite units earlier than expected. This is important, as we want everything to be ready to welcome you back to campus. Wonderful job!

On that note, we have some good news to share with you. I know throughout the move-out process everyone was asking when they would be able to move back on campus. As Cumberland County moves into the Green Phase, the college––under the guidance of the Pennsylvania Department of Education––has been approved to start planning for the phased reopening of campus housing. This phased approach is to ensure we are adhering to the best practices set forth by the state and CDC in order to keep our students and campus community safe. For more information regarding your specific phase, please review the attached document.

The Department of Student Housing and Residential Life appreciates your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through this difficult time. We hope that all of you are staying safe and want you to know that we support you. So please feel free to reach out to us with questions, concerns, or if you just need to talk. Enjoy your summer! We will be in touch.
