Summer Term Housing Update – Incoming Students

My name is Lindsay Garber and I am the Director of Student Housing and Residence Life. I met many of you during the Take a Closer Look virtual event in May. I hope you are getting excited to attend Central Penn this summer. We are looking forward to having you on campus soon.

On that note, we have some good news to share with you. As Cumberland County moves into the Green Phase, the college––under the guidance of the Pennsylvania Department of Education––has been approved to start planning for the phased reopening of campus housing. This phased approach is to ensure we are adhering to the best practices set forth by the state and CDC in order to keep our students and campus community safe.

For more information regarding your specific phase review this chart link.

Please direct all housing and move-in questions to Kelly Fox, Senior Financial Planning Coordinator

She can be reached at kellyfox@centralpenn.edu or 717-728-2246.

As we move closer to start of the term, you will receive additional communication from your admissions counselor and my department.

The Department of Student Housing and Residential Life appreciates your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through this difficult time. We hope that all of you are staying safe and want you to know that we support you. So please feel free to reach out to Kelly Fox or Lisa Seifert, Associate Director of Admissions (lisaseifert@centralpenn.edu) with questions or concerns.

Enjoy your summer! We will be in touch.
